York Residential Trip 2017
This year the residential trip to York will take place from Tuesday 4th April to Thursday 6th April 2017.
We plan to leave school at 7.30am on Tuesday morning so children should be in school by 7.00-7.15am. After a short break at Trowell Services, we expect to arrive in York for 12.00. The afternoon activities will start at 1.00pm and will finish late in the afternoon.
On the day of departure, we hope to leave at around 1.00pm, returning to school by 4.30pm. Any updates on the journey home will be sent out by Parent Text.
If possible the staff on the trip will send us photos for the website and we will upload them each day. We will also add any updates or information as and when we receive them. However, the WiFi connection at the racecourse is often temperamental so please don't be too disappointed if we are unable to put photographs on this page.
The staff who are attending the trip this year will be:-
- Miss Lewis
- Mrs Green
- Mr Jones
- Miss Bishop
- Mr Holdaway
- Mrs Raybould

The journey to York was uneventful and thery arrived in good time for a picnic followed by an packed afternoon of activities that were enjoyed by everyone.
Getting nearly 90 children fed at dinner time was an eye-opener for the staff but the children all enjoyed some good food before their evening of activities.
They have eaten a good breakfast before heading off for another busy day. Everyone is happy and they are all behaving themselves very well.
