What Is The FoBCPA?
We are a registered charity (Charity No.1020941) and a group of parents who all give our time on a voluntary basis to organise and run fundraising (and hopefully fun!) activities for those in our school community and also the wider community of Bishop's Cleeve.
Our aim is to use the funds we raise to provide 'extras' for the school. In the past we have built the gazebo in the Infant Playground, provided landscaping in the infant playground, purchased lap-top trolleys and many other items.
Our main fundraisers of the year are the Bonfire & Firework Night in November and the Summer Fete in June/July. Having said that, we also host a Christmas Shopping Evening, Quiz Nights and run a stall a the Woodmancote May Day Fair.
We also organise events through the school year that do not raise money for the school but do provide the children with a lot of enjoyment. These events include the Christmas parties, the Leaver's Ball and school discos.
FoBCPA can only work with your support and involvement! Every bit of help counts and there are lots of different ways to get involved. It could be as simple as buying a ticket and coming along to an event or buying a raffle ticket. You might be willing to help out at an event or make some cakes for a stall. Maybe you have some new ideas for fundraising events?
